I am Philip Castledine, a teacher of the Classical Guitar living in the East Midlands of England.

What`s My Background ?
I have a Graduate Diploma In Music from Huddersfield Polytechnic ( now a university !) and a LTCL (teacher) Diploma from Trinity College , London. I have been teaching the guitar ever since I left college in 1981.

Where Do I Work ?
I work for Nottinghamshire County Council where I am a Team Leader with Instrumental And Music Teaching of the Arts Support Service . I also have a number of private pupils.

Why The Web Page ?
Over the last few years I have begun to gather together all the pieces I have written and arranged over the years. My improving computer skills (!) have given me the chance to share this resource with other guitar students and teachers. There are many of us out there, but often working in isolation.
